For those European regions that have been selected for the first three years of action of the network, EURAC will develop scenarios for language learning and for language transmission in the context of European multilingualism and by using the minority languages. The network offers the opportunity to try and adapt different scenarios, so that people in the regions can directly benefit.
Scenarios will be developed on:
• Transmission of the standard language and additionally of the minority- or home language
• Transmission of minority languages in preschool and school establishments
• Transmission of the minority language to persons belonging to the majority and to immigrants
These scenarios will be brought into use in other multilingual regions in Europe and will consist both of research results as well as of guidelines for practitioners and decision makers.
